Companies in North America are not required by law to reveal the contents of any products sold to consumers. Although they are required to provide MSDS sheets to commercial and industrial customers. There are various excuses for not providing this information. Some companies hide behind supposed trade secrets. Also they claim that consumers do not use cleaning products in large enough concentrations to cause them any harm.
